PTU Vintage Elizabeth PTU

Vintage Elizabeth
This tutorial was written by me Fairygem on the 17th August 2017 and is all my own idea and creation. Any resemblance to other tutorials is purely coincidental and not intended.
You will need to have a working knowledge of Paint Shop Pro and working in layers.
For this tutorial you will need:-
Paint Shop Pro – I am using X5 but any version will work.
Tube of Choice – I am using the awesome artwork of Verymany. The tube is called Mary Elizabeth and you can buy her HERE. Remember you need to have a proper license to use Verymany’s artwork.
Scrapkit – I am using a wonderfully beautiful kit by Jenn at Ginnibug Designz called Vintage Elizabeth. You can buy this kit at Hania’s Design HERE or Picsfordesign HERE.
Jenn sells her beautiful kits under the name LapisGin.
Mask of Choice – I am using a beautiful mask by Savage at Rednecktuts. Savage_Mask16_2011. You can get this HERE.
Font of Choice – I am using a font called Youth and Beauty. This is a free font and you can get it HERE.
Plugins:-
Xero – Soft Mood
Lets Begin
1.         Open New Image 600x600
2.        Open Paper 5, Resize by 85% x2. Copy and Paste as a new layer. Load Mask, delete and merge group.
3.        Open Element 5, Copy and Paste as a new layer moving over to the left. Sharpen and give dropshadow V2, H3, Opa 35 Blur 8.35 Black.
4.        Open Element 14, Resize by 80% and mirror. Copy and Paste as a new layer moving over to the right. Sharpen and D/s as above.
5.        Open Element 50, Resize by 45%. Copy and Paste as a new layer moving to the left. Sharpen and D/s as above.
6.        Open your tube and if using the same as me resize by 50% then 70%. Copy and Paste as a new layer. Duplicate and on original Plugins Xero Soft Mood with settings below. On Copy change blend mode to Screen and Opacity to 75. D/s as above.
7.        With your freehand selection tool draw point to point a square on the bottom half of the skirt on the tube. Delete then delete on the original too. Selections None.
8.         Open Element 53, Resize by 65% x2. Copy and Paste as a new layer moving down and right. Sharpen then D/s as above.
9.         Open Element 13, Resize by 40% then 65%. Copy and Paste as a new layer moving down and right. Sharpen then D/s as above.
10.    Open Element 30, Resize by 40%. Copy and Paste as a new layer moving to the left. Sharpen then D/s as above.
11.    Open Element 39, Resize by 65% then 80%. Copy and Paste as a new layer moving to the left. Sharpen and D/s as above.
12.   Open Element 25, Resize by 40% then 65%. Copy and paste as a new layer moving down to the left. Sharpen and D/s as above.
13.   Open Element 21, Resize by 35%. Copy and Paste as a new layer. Image rotate free rotate and rotate by 17 left. Sharpen and D/s as above.
14.   Open Element 43, Resize by 20%. Copy and paste as a new layer moving to left. Sharpen and D/s as above.
15.   Open Element 71, Resize by 35%. Copy and Paste as a new layer moving down and right. Sharpen and D/s as above.
16.   Open Element 31, Resize by 50%. Copy and paste as a new layer moving down and right. Sharpen and D/s as above.
17.   Open Element 34, Resize by 35% then 65%. Copy and paste as a new layer moving over to the right so that its sitting on the top of the fan. Sharpen and D/s as above.
18.    Add your copyright and license details and resize if you wish to.
19.    Add your name using font and colour #25132b and size 72.
Save as a png

PTU Little Mermaid PTU

Little Mermaid
This tutorial was written by me Fairygem on the 17th August 2017 and is all my own idea and creation. Any resemblance to another tutorial is purely coincidental and not intended.
You will need to have a working knowledge with layers and paint shop pro.
For this tutorial you will need:-
Paint Shop Pro – I am using X5 but any version will work
Tube of Choice – I am using one of Joel Adams beautiful Mermaids. I bought this tube when Joel was with CILM but you can now buy his beautiful artwork from CDO HERE
Scrapkit – I am using the wonderful talents of Jenn at Ginnibug Designz. This kit is called Little Mermaid and can be bought at Hania’s Design HERE or Picsfordesign HERE. Jenn sells her kits under the name LapisGin
Mask of Choice – I am using a wonderful mask by Chelle, she has some awesome masks so if downloading get them all if you can. I am using WSL220 which you can get HERE
Font of Choice – I am using ATCitadel Script which you can get HERE
Ok Lets begin.

1.         Open New image 600x600
2.        Open Paper 4 and resize by 85% x2. Layers load mask and find your mask. Delete and merge group.
3.        Open Frame 8 and resize by 80%, copy and paste as a new layer.
4.        Take magic wand and click inside both frames, modify Expand by 7. Open Paper 7 and resize by 85%. Copy and paste as a new layer, invert and delete. Move Paper under frame and give frame dropshadow V2, H3, Opa 40 and blur 6.43.
5.        Open Element 9, Copy and paste as a new layer moving down to bottom of frame
6.        Open Element 21, Resize by 75%. Copy and paste as a new layer moving left and down. Sharpen and D/s as above.
7.        Open Element 26, resize by 45% then 75%. Copy and paste as a new layer moving down and slightly to the right. Sharpen and D/s as above.
8.         Open Element 24, resize by 25%. Copy and paste as a new layer and move down and right. Sharpen and D/s as above.
9.         Open Element 5, resize by 55%. Copy and paste as new layer moving over to the right and down. On Layer palette move under the chest and flower. Make top layer active.
10.    Open Element 16, resize by 55%. Copy and paste as a new layer moving slightly over to the right. D/s as above.
11.    Open Element 81, resize by 20%. Copy and paste as a new layer placing up and left so it sits in the upper frame. Duplicate and resize by 80% and move slightly up and over to the right. Merge down and Sharpen. D/s as above.
12.   Open your tube and if using the same as myself resize by 90%. Copy and Paste as a new layer moving over to the right. D/s as Above
13.   Open Element 62. Copy and paste as a new layer moving over to the right. Duplicate and resize by 85% and move over to the left. Merge Down.
14.   Add your name with font and colour from your tube. I am using #712971.
15.   Add copyright and license details resize if you wish then save as a png.
That’s it we are done

PTU Forest Fae Garden PTU

Forest Fae Garden

This tutorial was written by me Sharon/fairygem on 2nd July 2017 and is all my own idea. Any resemblance to other tutorials is purely coincidental and not intended. You will need to have a working knowledge with Paint Shop Pro and using layers and tools for this tutorial.
You will also need :-
Paint Shop Pro – I am using X5 but any version will work
Tube of Choice – I am using the wonderful artwork of Andy Cooper. You can buy his work at Scraps and Company Here. You must have a license to use his work.
Scrapkit – I am using the wonderful designer LapisGin at Ginnibug Designz. Jenn sells her kits at Picsfordesign Here and Hania’s Designs Here. The scrapkit is called Forest Fae.
Mask of Choice – I am using number 18 big masks by Vix HERE
Font of Choice – I am using Amethyst font – if you google this should come up for you.
Plugins – Eyecandy 4000 - Glass

Ok lets begin.
1.   Open new image 600x600
2.  Open Paper 14 and resize by 85% twice. Copy and paste as a new layer. Load mask and find Vix Big masks 18. Delete mask layer and merge as group.
3.  Open Paper 8. Go to your colour palette and click on pattern. Find your paper and make this active in your foreground.
4.  Go to presets and find Eclipse. Set the width to 30 and close the background colour. Draw out an oval shape size V400 H450 (See my tag for size and placement) Go to Eyecandy 4000 Glass settings and use settings below. Give a drop shadow of V2 H3 45 and 11.93.
5.  Take your Magic Wand and click inside the frame. Modify and expand by 9. Open Paper 9 and resize by 75%. Copy and Paste as a new layer, invert and delete overhanging paper. Move under frame.
6.  Open Element 1, resize by 85%. Copy and Paste as a new layer moving over to the left. Drop shadow as Above
7.  Open Element 42, resize by 45%. Copy and Paste as a new layer moving to the right. D/S as above
8.   Open Element 38 and resize by 45%. Copy and Paste as a new layer moving to the right. D/S as above
9.   Open Element 49, Resize by 85%. Copy and Paste as a new layer placing under the fairy house. Duplicate and mover towards the tree and slightly down.
10.               Open Element 62, resize by 65% twice. Copy and Paste as a new layer moving to the right and down a bit.
11.                Open your tube and if using same as me resize by 65% then 90%. Copy and paste as a new layer Mirror and Drop shadow as above.
12.               Open Element 65, resize by 40%. Copy and paste as a new layer move to left. Duplicate and move down slightly over to the right. Merge down and D/s as above.
13.               Open Element 8 and resize by 40%. Copy and Paste as a new layer moving over to the right. D/s as above.
14.               Open Element 21, resize by 40% then 60%. Copy and Paste as a new layer moving over to the right.
15.               Open Element 37, resize by 65%. Copy and Paste as a new layer.
16.               Add copyright and license information
17.              Add name using Amethyst font and colour #a76efa

PTU May the 4th be with you PTU

May the 4th be with You
This tutorial was written by me Fairygem on the 1st July 2017 and is all my own idea and creation. Any resemblance to another tutorial is purely co-incidental and not intended.
For this tutorial you will need to have a working knowledge of Paint Shop Pro and layers.
You will need:-
Paint Shop Pro – I am using X5 but any version will work
Tube of Choice – I am using the wonderful artwork of VeryMany called Mermaid 6. You can buy this tube and many more of her artwork  HERE. Please if using the same image make sure you have the relevant license to use this artwork.
Scrapkit – The kit I am using is a beautiful kit by Ginnibug Designz called Oceans4th. You can buy this kit at Hania’s Designs HERE or Picsfordesign HERE
Mask of Choice – I am using one of Vix’s big masks number 8 which you can get HERE
Font of Choice – I am using AL Script Hand which you can get HERE

Ok lets begin

1.  Open new image 600x600
2.  Open Paper 3 and resize by 85% then 90%. Copy and Paste as a new layer.
3.  Load Mask and find Vix Mask. Delete mask layer and
4. Open Frame 3, Copy and paste as a new layer. Grab your magic wand and click inside the frame. Modify Expand by 6.
5.  Open Paper 1 and resize by 75% twice. Copy and Paste as a new layer moving the paper where you wish in the frame. Invert and Delete. Move this layer below the frame. Add a D/s to the frame of V3, H2, 45 and 11.93
6.  Open Element 13, resize by 85%. Copy and Paste moving slightly down. Give D/S as above
7.  Open Element 59, resize by 65% then 80%. Copy and Paste as a new layer moving over to the right. D/S as above.
8.   Open Element 33, resize by 45%. Copy and paste as a new layer moving over to the left. D/S as above.
9.   Make Element 13 active again. Duplicate and bring  to the top of your layers. Move slightly over to the left and down, Duplicate again and Mirror. Merge down. Duplicate again and Mirror moving down towards the bottom of your layer. Merge down.
10.              Open Element 62, Resize by 45%. Copy and Paste as a new layer Mirror and move over to the left.
11.              Open Element 41, resize by 75%. Copy and Paste as a new layer moving slightly down.
12.              Open your tube and if using the same as me resize by 55% then 75%. Copy and paste as a new layer moving to the bottom of the sand. Duplicate and on the duplicate Adjust Gaussain Blur 3.00. Change blend mode to Screen. Add Dropshadow on original.
13.              Open Element 17, resize by 55%. Copy and Paste as a new layer moving over to the right. D/S as above.
14.             Open Element 69, Resize by 55% then 70%. Copy and paste as a new layer moving down to the right. D/S as above.
15.              Open Element 32, resize by 35% then 70%. Copy and paste as a new layer moving down and to the right. D/S as above.
16.             Open Element 74, resize by 65%. Copy and Paste as a new layer and move over to the right.
17.             Add Copyright and license number
18.              Add name using AL Script Hand and colour #fc1837. D/S as above.

PTU Mechanical Heart PTU

For this tutorial you will need a working knowledge of Paint Shop Pro and layers.
For this tutorial you will need:-
Paint Shop Pro – I use X5 but any version will work
Tube of Choice – I am using a beautiful tube by Alehandra Vanhek called Mechanical Heart. You can buy this tube at Scraps n Company HERE. Please make sure if using the same tube as me you have the relevant license to do so.
Scrapkit – I am using a beautiful kit by Ginnibug Designs called Mechanical Heart. You can buy this kit at Hania’s Designs HERE
Mask of choice or the one I am using which is by Rachel Designs called Mask 3 in Set 81-100. You can get the mask HERE
Font of Choice – I am using Ruthie Font which you can get HERE
Plugins :-
Mura Miester Copies – Encircle

All ready lets begin

1.  Open new Image 700x700, we can resize when we are done if you so wish.
2.  Open Paper 8, resize by 80% x2. Copy and Paste as a new layer.
3.  Layers load mask and find RD Maskset99 Mask 3. Delete mask and merge group.
4.  Open Frame  7, Copy and Paste as a new layer. Dropshadow V2, H2, 45, Blur 15.00 White.
5.  Open Element 103, Resize by 35% then 65% x2. Mura Miester copies – Encircle settings below.
6.  Open your Tube and if using the same one as I am, Resize by 65% then 80%. Copy and paste as a new layer.
7.  Make layer 3 active and with magic wand click inside the frame. Make tube layer active, invert and with eraser tool erase overhanging tube. Give dropshadow as above then give flower frame same dropshadow.
8.  Open Element 1 and resize by 85%. Copy and Paste as a new layer placing to the bottom left. Sharpen and D/S.
9.  Open Element 39, resize by 65%, mirror, copy and paste as a new layer and move to the right side. D/S
10.              Open Element 48, resize by 45%. Copy and Paste as a new layer placing in front of Element 39. D/S
11.              Open Element 56, resize by 35%. Copy and Paste moving to the left side. Sharpen and D/s.
12.              Open Element 105, resize by 75%. Mirror then copy and paste as a new layer moving behind Element 1 on left. Sharpen and D/S.
13.              Open Element 79 and resize by 35%. Copy and Paste as a new layer moving to left above Element 105. Image free Rotate 12 left. Sharpen and D/S.
14.             Add copyright and License No
15.              Add your name using Ruthie and colour #0baba7. D/S
16.             Resize image if you would like to, I resized the whole image by 85%.

PTU Angel Skull Spring

For this tutorial you will need to have a working knowledge of Paint Shop Pro and adding layers.
You will also need :-
Paint Shop Pro – I am using pspX5 but any version will work
Scrapkit – I am using an awesome one by Jenn at Ginnibug Designz called Angel of Love. Although this kit was designed for Valentines the Elements can be used in a Spring tag also. You can buy this kit at Hania’s Design HERE
Tube of Choice – I am using a beautiful tube by Lysisange called Skull Pink. You can buy this tube at Scraps and Company HERE. Please remember you need a working license to use art from this company.
Mask of Choice – I am using a beautiful mask by Simone at Scrapy Bit of Fun – Mask 25 – You can find this mask HERE
Font of Choice – I used a beautiful font by Rob called Shalimar Swash. You can find this font with a search online.
Plugin:-
Eye Candy 5 Impact Gradient Glow.
DropShadow throughout tutorial is V2 H1 Opacity 45 Blur 5 Black.
Ok Lets Begin
Open new image 600x600 Transparent
Open Paper 16 and resize by 85% twice. Load Mask 25 by Simone. Delete mask and merge group.
Open Element 3, Resize by 85% twice then 90%. Copy and Paste as a new layer and move slightly up.
Open your Tube, copy and paste as a new layer onto your image. Resize tube by 45%, Sharpen and give dropshadow previously stated.
Open Element 15, Copy and Paste moving behind main tube. Duplicate and move slightly down. Duplicate the original element and bring up above the main tube. Move slightly down. See my tag for placement.
Open Element 4 and resize by 55%, copy and paste as a new layer moving to right side of tag and down slightly. Sharpen and give dropshadow previously stated.
Open Element 61 and resize by 35%, copy and paste as a new layer moving to the left side of tag and down slightly. Sharpen and give dropshadow previously stated.
Open Element 53 and resize by 25%, copy and paste as a new layer moving to the left side of tag. Sharpen and give dropshadow previously stated. Rotate free rotate 12 Left. Make sure all layers is unticked.
Open Element 7 and resize by 30%, copy and paste as a new layer moving to the right of the tag. Sharpen and give dropshadow previously used. Rotate Free rotate 12 Right.
Open Element 81 and resize by 30%, copy and paste as a new layer moving down slightly. Sharpen and give dropshadow previously used.
Open Element 19 and resize by 40%, copy and paste as a new layer moving down near bottom of tag. Sharpen and give dropshadow previously used.
Open Element 36 and resize by 30%, copy and paste as a new layer moving to left side. Sharpen and give dropshadow previously used.
Open Element 72 and resize by 30% then 90%, copy and paste as a new layer moving to right side. Sharpen and give dropshadow previously used.
Open Element 47 and resize by 90%, copy and paste as a new layer moving over to the right side of tag. Sharpen and give dropshadow previously used.
Add your name using your preferred font and give a Gradient glow settings below:-

 Add  Copyright and License
Save as a PNG
