Biker Chick
This tutorial was written by Me on
the 2nd September 2012 and is my own idea. Any resemblance to other
tutorials is purely coincidental. For this tutorial you must have a working
knowledge of working with layers. Remember my tutorial is only a guideline make
the tag your own with your own special touches.
For this tutorial
you will need:-
Paint Shop Pro –
Any Program will work but I am using Paint Shop Pro 9.
A tube of choice
or the one I am using by Keith Garvey called Biker Girl which you can find HERE
remember you must have a License to use Keith’s work
Scrapkit of choice
or the one I am using by LaCarolita called Biker Babe which you can find HERE,
this kit is FTU.
Template by me
which you can find HERE
Mask of Choice or
the one I am using DBV 104 which you can find HERE
Font of Choice
Plugins – Xero Fritillary
– Settings – 5-36-84-94
Vm Extravaganza –
Transmission – 6 – 0 - 40
Ok lets begin
1.
Open my template and shift D then close the
original
2.
Open paper 7, copy and paste at the bottom of
the template. Layers load mask from Disk and find your mask. Add the mask to
your layer, delete mask layer and merge group.
3.
Highlight layer 3, Selections float defloat and
open paper 5. Resize paper by 85% twice. Copy and Paste as a new layer Invert
Delete. Delete the original layer.
4.
Highlight layer 4, Selections float defloat and
open Paper 1. Resize paper by 85%. Copy and Paste as a new layer. Invert
Delete. Delete the original layer.
5.
Highlight layer 5, Selections float defloat and
flood fill with fe36a7.
6.
Go to Xero Fritillary and use settings above.
Deselect.
7.
Highlight layer 2, Selections float defloat and
open Paper 8. Resize by 85% . Copy and Paste as a new layer, Invert Delete. Delete the
original layer.
8.
Highlight layer 6, Selections float defloat and
flood fill with da067e. Xero Fritillary settings as before. Deselect.
9.
Highlight layer 6 Copy1, Selections float defloat
and flood fill with 064cda. Xero Fritillary settings as before. Deselect.
10.
Highlight layer 6 Copy2, Selections float
defloat and flood fill with 9b27fd. Xero Fritillary settings as before. Do not
Deselect.
11.
Go to the Close up for Keith’s tube and mirror.
Copy and paste as a new layer, Invert and Delete. Deselect. Change the
properties to Hard Light.
12.
Go to layer 7, Selections float defloat and
flood fill with 2f0335. Adjust add or remove noise. Add noise at 65%. Deselect.
13.
Highlight Layer 8. Selections float defloat. Open Paper
3 and resize 85% twice. Copy and paste as a new layer, Invert and Delete.
Deselect and delete the original layer.
14.
Highlight Layer 9, Selections float defloat.
Open Paper 2 and resize 85% twice. Copy and paste as a new layer, Invert and
Delete. Deselect and delete the original layer.
15.
Highlight Layer 10, Selections float defloat.
Make a gradient using the da067e and 064cda. Flood fill the Stars. Vm Extravaganza
– Transmission – Settings as Above.
16.
Highlight Layer 11, Selections float defloat.
Open Paper 6 and resize by 85%. Copy and paste as a new layer, Invert and
Delete. Deselect and delete original layer.
17.
Highlight Layer 13, Selections float defloat add
a New Layer and flood fill with 064cda. Adust add and remove noise, and Add
noise at 80%. Delete the orginal layer.
18.
Highlight Layer 12, Selections float defloat.
Add a New Layer and flood fill with da067e. Delete the original layer.
19.
Open your tube and Copy and paste onto the left
side of your tag. Resize by 85% and Sharpen.
20.
Open Bow 2 from the kit and resize by 15%. Copy
and Paste as a new layer and place it to the top right side of your tag. Make
sure it is place under your tube and Wordart.
21.
Open Helmet 1 from the kit and resize by 35%.
Copy and Paste as a new layer and place it at the bottom of the tag on the
Right side.
22.
Open Biker Boot from the kit and resize by 20%.
Copy and Paste as a new layer and place it in front of the helmet. Duplicate
and move below the first boot. Merge down.
23.
Open Biker Rope from the kit and resize by 20%.
Copy and paste it under the tube but onto the two small circles. Look at my tag
for placement.
24.
Add your Name and place between the Tubes feet.
25.
Add copyright and license then save as a PNG

Tutorial and remember this is for a guideline only make the tag yours with your
own personal touches.
